The Stereoscopic Society was founded in 1893 and celebrated its 100th birthday with the ISU at the ISU Congress in 1993.
In 2005 , The Stereoscopic Society celebrated 30 years of the ISU by hosting and organising the ISU Congress in Eastbourne, 14 – 19 September 2005.
